Welcome to the Odd Fellow Home, an 82 bed State & Federally licensed skilled nursing facility, located in the Astor Park community of Green Bay, WI.

The Odd Fellow Home accepts Medicare, Title 19, Hospice, Private Pay, and Third Party payments.

The direction for the establishment and operation of Odd Fellows stems from the language on this fraternal organization's original Sovereign Grand Lodge Seal, which reads in part, "We Command You To Visit The Sick, Relieve The Distressed...and Educate The Orphan."

It is with this compassionate mandate that the first Green Bay Odd Fellow facility was established in 1889; and it is those precepts which guide the operation of today's modern skilled care Odd Fellow Home.

Treating The Complete Person

Each resident's needs are initially evaluated and regularly reviewed by our Care Team, consisting of a physician, nurse, therapists, social worker, dietician, Activity Director and the resident. In addition, our staff members meet with family and the resident to coordinate and communicate a quality care plan. Questions from the family are welcome at any time. All concerns are addressed in a timely and open manner.

Addressing Our Resident's Total Health Needs Through:

• Rehab Services including: Physical, Occupational,
  Speech and Respiratory Therapy Programs.
• 24 hour professional nursing care, including IV therapy, pain and wound management, nutritional support, and oxygen therapy.
• Restorative nursing program.
• Social Services.
• Hospice services in conjunction with Unity, VNA or Heartland Hospice.
• Therapeutic Activities.

• Aviary.
• Patio for barbeques and entertainment.
• Big screen TV for Packer games and other programs.
• A wealth of activities, including crafts, music, and religious activities.
• Outings to keep residents active and feeling that they are still a part of the community.

We realize that nursing home placement can be a difficult decision for all involved, even when such a resolution is recognized as the best for the person. You are invited to call our social worker at 920-437-6523 for a tour and to have all your questions answered fully.

Each member of our staff is sensitive to the needs of residents and family, and has been specially trained to address our residents' medical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social needs, whether for respite, short-term rehabilitation, or long term care.
